Laser Cutting Corporation's laser features a beam that is up to four times smaller than many traditional lasers used in manufacturing. This allows for a cut with a smoother, burr-free finish and very narrow kerfs. Machine control allows the laser to travel at speeds up to 500 inches per minute, with positioning accuracy to ±0.0002" and repeatability at ±0.0001". The laser cuts through up to 1/4" mild steel by vaporizing the point of impact, eliminating any possibility of stretching or distortion.
